Twisted Twosome by Meghan Quinn is a standalone romantic comedy with a really large emphasis on the comedy. With laugh out loud moments, sexy hot times, powerful emotional journeys, this book has it all and throughout there is such a wonderful wit and personality it was by far one of my favorite reads of the year.
Racer is a hard working, opinionated, hot specimen of man. He knows he's hot, but he doesn't have time to use it to his advantage, he is too busy working every chance he gets, earning money to pay down the stack of bills he is now responsible for.
Georgiana is privileged and bored. Her father insists she know her place and continue being the best woman she can be. Help her mother with her charity work, portray herself as perfect wife material. She has other plans. A business plan and a dream and she is determined to make it come true.
When Georgiana and Racer meet the sparks fly. Yeah, I know what you are thinking, but they're not sparks of passion - fury is the name and they ignite plenty of fury in each other, until it does slowly morph into passion and adoration and leaves us with an amazing journey to take with them and a happy ending. Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down.
